Dental Students want to know what?

Later this afternoon I am speaking to 30 “very interested in their future” dental students at the Case College of Dentistry.  They are different from the norm.  They are the ones who want to prepare themselves for the “real world” when they graduate.  They are taking the “extra” time to learn and ask questions.  If YOU were speaking to a group of young people on the presipus of their career, what would you want to discuss with them?  I welcome your comments…..Coach RonP2110091

The benefit of starting early with their personal financial planning and practice management.

It is like fixing a hole in the wall. Would you fail to fix the wall just because the materials to fix it cost $? The cost of the materials will be far less expensive than what it is going to cost you if you delay fixing the wall.

I would tell them not to speed up their injections when they get out in the real world. I dentist I work for now has built his practice just by his slow injections that everyone says are painless. And I would tell them to let the patient always know the steps you are doing. They love to be informed.

I would tell them to remember to treat each patient with dignity and respect , especially when you disagree with them and they don’t accept your ideal Treatment plan.

Got something to say?
